![]() Young men, if i remember correctly, are one of the most prone groups to suicide (moreso when divergent sexuality is involved.) LGBT people, in general, are more likely to take drugs and suffer mental illness, be bullied and feel isolated and that they don't belong in the world. Unfortunately it seems that it's harder for young men. I'm sure many people of any sexuality and gender on data lounge can identify that there is always some form of struggle with one's sexuality. Because who in their right mind runs around doing class A drugs? Drugs can cause new mental illnesses and exacerbate mental illness that is already present. Just because he came from a family in a particular wage bracket doesn't mean that he would be less likely to suffer from some form of mental illness. ![]() Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but clearly he had far too many demons to write about on paper and express through his music. I don't know to call it rapping or singing, but it definitely came from a dark place. I heard of him through data lounge and have just listened to some of his music. Sure dying young helps your chances, but with the 5 second attention span of society today and the lack of mainstream level of his songs, I really think most people will just move on after the initial shock and grief wears off. Think of all the huge stars of the past who fizzled out. ![]() Maybe I'm underestimating his popularity and fame, but I really don't think he'll go down as a legend, even to the young generation. The whole thing is just incredible in the worst way possible. You don't need to have ever touched a drug to know he was dead. His death was downright stupid because he had these 'best friend's idiots around who allegedly don't know an overdose or corpse when they see one, despite having a great familiarity with drugs. The stupidity involved is so off-the-charts that it should be criminal anyway if it was an honest mistake, and definitely so if it wasn't. If Peep was taking a nap, a pretty normal thing people do, is there really a reason to concoct a whole joke about how hard he's working out just to show him sleeping? I mean maybe, since they thought he had been 'napping' for hours, but I mean come on. The guy saw that, which likely gave him the idea for the video in the first place, recorded himself talking up his activity, and then after filming what is obviously a corpse added in a joking "oh" to complete it. Those who want to believe they just thought he was sleeping, sorry but how? Even if you are fucked up on something, looking at him in that video you can easily tell he's dead.
